For large industrial concerns, or for clients with large site portfolios, to small private clients or public organizations, our thinking is the same. Our scientists work hand in hand with our design folks and technicians to develop an approach and then evaluate its feasibility at each site.
We review all site data, recommend additional testing as necessary, and design remediation using the techniques and technology best suited to achieve success. We can also review and troubleshoot existing solutions for optimization.
We believe in evaluating all technologies and approaches and avoid the one-size-fits-all thinking that has dominated the remediation industry in recent years.
We recognize that environmental investigation and remediation is costly. Whatever your remediation questions and needs, we'll work closely with you to determine the most efficient approach to stay in compliance while achieving your goals.

You may have noticed when crossing one of the bridges over the Schuylkill River that the former Philadelphia Refinery, which was the largest oil refinery in the eastern US, is undergoing a dramatic makeover. Known as the Bellweather District, this may be one of the largest Brownfield Redevelopment projects in the US, and when finished, will completely transform the city as we’ve come to know and love it.
Aquaterra has been involved in site remediation at the former refinery almost since the day our company was founded in 1995. Today, we are proud to say our role has only increased as we work extremely hard with all stakeholders to make sure this historic and visionary project is realized in the coming years.

Meet Solomon - Master mechanic and jack of all trades. Here, he’s building a mount for a 130-Watt solar array to power one of our custom LNAPL (aka oil) pumping systems.
We’ve deployed several of these over the last few years and have found them reliable and efficient. Meaning, they really do pump LNAPL, not groundwater. ... See MoreSee Less
