Projects involve UST system closure; site characterization and monitoring; remedial feasibility testing; remedial system design, installation, and operation and maintenance; and site closure through PA Storage Tank Corrective Action Process and/or Act 2. Responsibilities include financial planning and budget management, scheduling, work plan development and execution, and third-party/regulatory negotiations.

  • Achieved regulatory release from liability under Pennsylvania’s Land Recycling Program (Chapter 250) and Storage Tank Corrective Action Process (Chapter 245) for over 50 sites.

  • Consulted for numerous property divestments and acquisitions, including a major transaction involving Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments with associated project life cycle and remedial cost forecasting for 13 gasoline stations in southeastern Pennsylvania. The entire project, from planning through field work execution and report delivery was completed under budget and within 30 days.

The program was implemented over a two-year period resulting in successful completion of approximately 120 projects consisting of UST closures, construction dewatering operations, waste management, site characterization, and interim remedial actions.

  • Coordinated a program to investigate and close Class V Injection Wells in accordance with an EPA consent order at 60 former and active service stations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.

  • Successfully completed a 1.5-year field and permitting effort associated with an industrial groundwater supply development in southern New Jersey.
